Pakistani Ambassador met with Mayor elect NYC

New York, 23 November 2021 (TDI): Pakistani Ambassador to the United States of America (USA) Asad Khan and Consul General of Pakistan to New York (NY) met with the Mayor-Elect of the New York Eric Adams.

The Pakistani Ambassador Asad Khan and Consul General Ayesha Ali also met with the two Assemblywomen Sadaf Jaffer and Shama Haider.

Meeting with Mayor-Elect Eric Adams

Eric Adam is the new Mayor-Elect of New York City. Asad Khan and Ayesha Ali congratulated Mayor-Elect Eric Adams on his triumph to lead New York City. Both the Pakistani officials expressed gratitude over Pakistan and America’s bilateral relationship.

The officials appreciated the Mayor-Elect for his continuous cooperation with the American Pakistani Community.

Meeting with Assembly Women Sadaf Jaffer and Shama Haider

Pakistani Ambassador to the USA Asad Khan and Consul General of Pakistan to NY met the two newly elected Pakistani American Assembly Women elect, Sadaf Jaffer and Shama Haider.

Both the Pakistani officials appreciated them for winning such an honourable seat in the New Jersey State Assembly elections. Asad Khan believes the success of these inspirational women would motivate other Pakistani American Community members to join in on a noble cause.

Our governments do so much for us, it is time to give something back by taking up Public Services and making our community a better place for everyone.

USA and Pakistan Bilateral Relations

Both USA and Pakistan are collaborating in various fields to strengthen their partnership. The public plays an important role in building up and strengthening these relations as well. The Pakistani American community is playing a commendable role in social and political sectors. These efforts would help in spreading a positive image of Pakistan and the USA in both countries hence forming a long-lasting bond between the two nations.
