Islamabad, 27 August 2021 (TDI): On August 27, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry wished Moldova Independence Day. Moldova celebrated its 30th Independence Day.
Moldova is located in Eastern Europe. According to World Bank, its population is 2.658 million (2019). Romanian is its official language also called Moldovan.
Moldova was liberated in 1991 from USSR. The largest city Chisinau is its capital. Around 91.8 percent are Christians with 5.5 percent atheists and remaining others. Landlocked Moldova has neighboring country Romania in the west and it is bordered from the north, east, and south by Ukraine.
