Islamabad: July 1, 2021-(TDI): Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pakistan’s spokesperson congratulated China on officially becoming a WHO-certified Malaria-free country.
After a long time effort of almost 70 years, the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared China malaria-free on Wednesday. During the 1940s, China reported 30 million cases per year. Since then, eradication efforts have reduced the number of cases.
The MoFA spokesperson took upon Twitter and wished the people and government of China their remarkable success in achieving this milestone. It’s great to see our “all-weather strategic cooperation partner” reach this goal, Chaudhri stated.
