Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s recent military actions against Iran, labeling them as unjustified, illegal, and a direct violation of international norms.
The Foreign Office on Thursday called on the United Nations and the broader international community to take urgent action and hold Israel accountable.
Speaking at a weekly press briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan stated: “These strikes are a clear violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. They breach the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law. Iran is fully entitled to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN Charter.”
Khan reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering solidarity with the Iranian people, describing the Israeli attacks as dangerous provocations that threaten the broader peace and stability of the region and beyond.

The discussions centered on the rapidly deteriorating situation in the Middle East, with all sides expressing concern over the escalating conflict.
“They agreed on the need for collective efforts to reduce tensions and restore calm,” Khan said.
