Abu Dhabi (TDI): Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, met with Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to explore avenues for enhancing collaboration between the two nations’ business communities.
During their meeting, they focused on strengthening ties between UAE Chambers and Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industries, emphasizing the establishment of B2B joint ventures to boost bilateral trade.
Ambassador Tirmizi extended his congratulations to Al Zaabi on his recent appointment and praised the visionary initiatives of the UAE leadership, highlighting ADCCI’s significant contributions to the UAE’s economic development.
Tirmizi provided insights into Pakistan’s investment regime, outlining government initiatives aimed at facilitating foreign investors.

He highlighted potential investment sectors in Pakistan, including information technology, food and agriculture, textiles, leather, tourism, and infrastructure.
The Ambassador reiterated an invitation for a business delegation from UAE Chambers to visit Pakistan, emphasizing the importance of enhancing economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries.

Both parties agreed on the need for trade facilitation, B2B engagements, and the mutual exchange of delegations, as well as participation in upcoming trade fairs and exhibitions, including GITEX and TEXPO.
