Pakistan, UAE Agree to Strengthen Ties

Abu Dhabi (TDI): Bilal Azhar Kayani, Minister of State for Finance and Railways, met with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, at the Presidential Palace Qasr Al Bahr during his official visit to Abu Dhabi.

Kayani conveyed Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s warm greetings and best wishes to Zayed Al Nahyan and the people of the UAE.

He also extended the prime minister’s invitation for the president to undertake an official visit to Pakistan.

Zayed Al Nahyan appreciated the gesture and conveyed his sincere regards for the leadership and people of Pakistan.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening the longstanding, brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE.

Bilal Azhar Kayani is currently visiting Abu Dhabi to participate in the three-day Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference (GRTIEC), organized by Etihad Rail, where he is representing Pakistan in discussions on regional connectivity and infrastructure development.
