Madrid, 27 August 2021 (TDI): In honor of the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Spain and Pakistan, Casa Asia hosted a musical concert in Madrid, Spain. Pianist Abdon Alcaraz, Pakistani musicians Ashraf Khan and Shahbaz Hussain held the spotlight the entire show.
Casa Asia, with the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union, aims to promote better cultural, economic, educational, and diplomatic relations between Spain and Asian countries.
The Pakistani Ambassador to Spain, Shujjat Rathore testified to the beauty of the fused Spanish and Pakistani music in the event. He took Twitter to thank Pakistani Embassy in Spain and the Spanish partners for the event and said that “You don’t need to speak Spanish, English, or Urdu to understand the language of music.”
