Pakistan-Russia held Joint Military Exercises

Moscow, 29 September 2021 (TDI): A Joint Military Exercise was held between Pakistani and Russian forces at Molkino training ground in the Krasnodar territory. Joint Pakistani-Russian military exercise was given the name of “Druzhba-2021.”

Almost 130 servicemen of the armed forces from the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took part in it. However, this exercise will help cooperation in areas of combating terrorism as well as information sharing. At the opening ceremony, special forces units and engineering assault units held training on the ground. Also, modern equipment and weapons of both states’ Armed forces were displayed. It includes robots Uran-6 and complex Cobra-1600.

Military exercises between Moscow and Islamabad will help elevate bilateral relations in the future. Also, both sides have signed agreements on joint projects, which will help strengthen their military ties.
