Melbourne, 7 September 2022 (TDI): Pakistan pavilion at the Fine Food Australia Trade Fair is attracting the Australian people.

The fair is taking place in the Australian City, Melbourne. It is a four-day event that will conclude on 8 September 2022.

Fine Food Australia is organizing this fair at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). The Australian people and potential buyers are showing huge interest in the food items presented at the Pakistan Pavilion in the MCEC.

Pakistan’s Pavilion

Pakistan Pavilion is displaying a diverse range of food items from 14 prominent food exporters at the premier Australian trade event.

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan has organized the Pakistan Pavilion, with assistance from the Consulate General and Trade Commission of Pakistan in Sydney.

During the initial days of the food items exhibition, the Pakistan Pavilion drew a large number of Australian customers and trade visitors.

Pakistan’s food items exhibition at Fine Food Australia includes rice, dates, pink salt, spices, jams & jellies, bread items, confectionery, seafood, drinks, and ready-made frozen products.

Opportunities for Food Exports

Fine Food Australia is the biggest yearly trade exhibition of food items in South Australia. This flagship exhibition is being hosted after a two-year break because of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Consul General of Pakistan to Sydney and Trade Commissioner in Sydney, Muhammad Ashraf stated that the food exports of Pakistan to Australia have increased by 32 percent in the past three years.

Australia has $11 billion yearly importation trade for food items. Therefore, the opportunity for export development is much greater between the two countries.

Many types of products had been restricted due to the restrictions of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Therefore, now there is a surging demand for export items of Pakistan in the markets of Australia and New Zealand.
