Islamabad (TDI): Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb received Netherlands Ambassador to Pakistan Henny de Vries at the Finance Division on Wednesday to discuss bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest
During the meeting, both sides explored avenues for further strengthening bilateral economic collaboration.
The Finance Minister briefed the envoy on Pakistan’s current macroeconomic outlook and the government’s reform agenda, with a special focus on key sectors of the economy.
He highlighted the government’s commitment to achieving sustainable, productivity-led, and export-driven development, underlining the critical role of the private sector as the real engine of economic growth.
He also commended the technical and financial support provided by the Netherlands to Pakistan in different sectors, including development and capacity-building initiatives.
The minister further appreciated the continued interest and investment by Dutch firms in Pakistan and reaffirmed commitment to facilitating foreign investment and creating a conducive business environment.

Ambassador Henny de Vries acknowledged the government’s macroeconomic reforms and its focus on export-oriented policies.
