Islamabad (TDI): Pakistan and Jordan have agreed to deepen bilateral cooperation, with a focus on counter-narcotics operations and police training, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said on Thursday.
In a statement on his social media account X, Minister Naqvi said he met with his Jordanian counterpart Mazen Abdullah Hilal Al-Faraya to explore ways to enhance collaboration between the two countries’ interior ministries.
Naqvi invited the Jordanian minister to visit Pakistan to continue the momentum in strengthening ties between Islamabad and Amman.
He quoted Al-Faraya as describing Pakistan as a “brotherly country” and recalling the recent successful visit of His Majesty the King of Jordan to Pakistan.

The Jordanian minister also highlighted the special importance Jordan attaches to its relationship with Pakistan.

Both sides agreed to expand cooperation across various security-related sectors and reaffirmed their commitment to building stronger institutional linkages for regional stability and mutual benefit.
