New York (TDI): Pakistan Heritage Day was celebrated at Gracie Mansion, the official residence of the Mayor of New York City, highlighting the contributions of the Pakistani-American community to the city’s diverse social fabric.
Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, in his address commended the community’s role in strengthening Pakistan-US relations.
He reaffirmed that Pakistan remains fully capable of defending its sovereignty while continuing to pursue peace, progress, and cooperation with the international community.
Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, thanked Mayor Eric Adams for recognizing the Pakistani-American community and for dedicating a day to celebrate Pakistan’s heritage.
