Beijing, 4 August 2021 (TDI): Pakistan Embassy in Beijing in collaboration with China-Film Administration has organized the 1st ever Pakistan Film Week in China. The Festival starts today and will continue for 3 days, scheduled to end on 7th August.
The festival is a part of 70-year celebrations of diplomatic ties between China and Pakistan. The festival aims at enhancing cultural and people-to-people collaboration between the two states. 5 Pakistani movies namely Motorcycle Girl, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, Bin Roye, Ho Maan Jahan, and Blind Love will be premiered at the festival.
Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting shared a video message saying such festivals give the Pakistani Film industry a chance to showcase their movies globally. He also thanked the Chinese Film administration for the opportunity. Minister Fawad Chaudry also expressed his desire for enhanced cooperation between China and Pakistan in the fields of entertainment and media departments.
