The National Day of the UAE is celebrated on 2nd December every year. The date marks the historic event of the unification of all seven Emirates into one nation. It is a time of year when all locals and expatriates gather to celebrate.

On the day of 2nd December 1971, the rulers of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman, Al-Ain, Sharjah, and Umm Al-Quwain agreed to unite as one country. On February 2nd 1972, Ras Al Khaimah decided to join as the seventh Emirate.

The unification of the seven Emirates as the United Arab Emirates was under the guidance of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan (Late), who became the nation’s first President. Since then every year this day has been celebrated as the United Arab Emirates National Day across the nation.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan Anwar-Ul-Haq Kakar expressed his felicitation to the government and the people of the United Arab Emirates.

He said that he is delighted to be in Dubai for the 28th United Nations Conference of Parties (COP-28) on this historic day. He added that Pakistan is proud of the remarkable progress of our Emirati brothers.
