Pakistan Defence Day Celebrated in Beijing

Beijing, 7 September 2021 (TDI):  In Beijing, on the occasion of Pakistan Defence and Martyrs Day, 6 September, Moin ul Haque, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, reiterated Pakistan’s continuous efforts for regional peace and prosperity and showed appreciation to its all-weather friend, China, for the enhancement in the relations between two states.

During his speech, Moin also talked about the sacrifices Pakistan has given in the war against terrorism and paid homage to the brave soldiers of Pakistan. On this occasion, the ambassador also underscored that Islamabad will keep raising its voice for Kashmiris. 

This day is celebrated every year in the Pakistan Embassy in China in order to pay tribute to the sacrifices of the country’s army.  This year senior Chinese civil and military officials; members of diplomatic and press corps; Defense and Military Attaches and representatives of the Pakistani community. Lt. General Shao Yuanming, Deputy Chief of the Joint Staff Department of the Central Military Commission of China attended the event at Pakistan’s Embassy in China.
