Islamabad, 23 September 2022 (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker of National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan have congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on its 92nd National Day. The Kingdom observes national day every year on 23 September.

Prime Minister of Pakistan

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 22 September.

The Prime Minister congratulated him on the occasion of the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He conveyed felicitations and greetings for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the people of Saudi Arabia.

The Crown Prince conveyed condolences on the loss of precious lives and livelihoods of the people caused by torrential monsoon rains and unprecedented floods in Pakistan. He assured continued support of the Kingdom for the flood-affected people of Pakistan.

Speaker National Assembly

The Speaker National Assembly of Pakistan Raja Pervez Ashraf also extends felicitations & prayers to Saudi leadership and people on the occasion of the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Speaker remarked that Pakistan always cherishes its brotherly ties with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He emphasized regular high-level exchanges between the Parliaments of Pakistan and KSA.

It will further cement the bond of friendship & open new avenues of cooperation in all fields of mutual interest.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On the occasion Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan also extended the heartiest felicitations to the Government and people of Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry also mentioned the bilateral trade volume between the two countries which is 4.65 billion USD.  It also highlighted that over 2 million Pakistani origin persons residing in Saudi Arabia.
