Islamabad: July 19, 2021- (TDI): Pakistan condemned the violent attacks carried out by Israeli occupation forces on worshippers of the Al Aqsa Mosque and stressed on the international community to take action to protect our brotherly nation of Palestine. Israeli forces attacked the people at Al Aqsa Mosque and subsequently many people were injured in response of the riot carried out by Israeli forces.
The Spokesperson of the Foreign Office of Pakistan Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry took to Twitter and said that such attacks were against the humanitarian norms and rules and human rights. The government of Pakistan stands in solidarity and unity with the Government and the people of the State of Palestine in their demands for basic rights and equality.
He further stressed the two-state solution according to the UN and OIC resolutions with the pre-1967 borders and make Al Quds Al-Sharif as the capital of Palestine. Pakistan also calls for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state as per the international parameters.
