As a full member, Pakistan has consistently emphasized regional security cooperation, particularly in counter-terrorism efforts and border security initiatives.

The country has also leveraged SCO platforms to promote economic integration and trade facilitation, engaging in discussions on connectivity projects and trade routes that benefit member states.

Additionally, Pakistan has actively participated in cultural exchanges and people-to-people contacts facilitated by the SCO, fostering greater understanding and cooperation among nations.

Notably, Pakistan assumed the chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in 2023, underscoring its increased role and responsibilities within the organization.

Through its engagement with the SCO, Pakistan aims to promote regional stability, enhance connectivity, and strengthen cooperation in Eurasia and beyond.
