Ottawa (TDI): High Commissioner of Pakistan, Muhammad Saleem, held a meeting with Kaye Bass, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of St. Kitts and Nevis – the Caribbean country.
Establishment of formal institutional mechanism for bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries was discussed.
In addition, collaboration between training institutions for diplomats was identified as an important pillar for strengthening bilateral cooperation across political, economic, culture and sports domains.
Both sides also highlighted cooperation at multilateral forums including the UN on matters of common concern like Climate Change.
The meeting reaffirmed the shared interest of both sides to fostering closer ties and enhancing collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
The High Commissioner expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and excellent arrangements made by the Ministry for his Credentials ceremony.
