The people of Sudan are bearing brunt of the civil wars and conflicts in the country for the last couple of years.

A week ago, Sudan‘s army claimed on Tuesday to capture more territory in the country’s second-largest city from the military’s rival rebel group, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

RSF fighters were pushed out of several areas in the west and south of Omdurman, with the Sudanese army seizing weapons and freeing several officers, according to The Sudan Tribune.

The RSF and the Sudanese army were allies until 2023 when a civil war erupted between the two military factions.
