Karachi (TDI): Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh here on Sunday visited Utopia Industries Pvt. Ltd in Karachi, a major exporter that has achieved remarkable growth since its commencement in 2020, Pakistani state-owned media reported.
In a tweet, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said the Utopia Industries Pvt. Ltd, with a 39 percent increase in export volume, now exports products, including bedding, kitchenware, and unique plastic and metal items.
He stated that the Utopia Deals was the top Amazon seller worldwide creating 10,000 jobs in Pakistan and expanding footprint in the US market. He termed the Utopia, certainly a source of pride.

Meanwhile, the Pakistani Ambassador, also held meetings with President, Vice President and former Presidents of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) during his visit to Karachi.
Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and the business community leaders also discussed the challenges and opportunities with reference to strengthening trade, investment and commercial linkages between Pakistan and the United States.
Sustained coordination and engagement will help respond to the challenges and realize the potential, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh stated.
Ambassador Shiekh’s interesting remarks
Soon after his arrival in the US as Ambassador, earlier this year, he interacted with media. This interaction was described by correspondent of the daily, Dawn, in a very interesting manner as follows:
“In two words: trade diplomacy,” said Pakistan’s new ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, when asked about his mandate.
Ambassador Sheikh, who participated in a presentation of credentials ceremony at the US State Department on Thursday, just a week after his arrival, vowed to “strengthen bilateral ties to the best of his abilities”.

He emphasised the importance of maintaining strong connections with the Pakistani diaspora in the United States, highlighting that over a million Pakistanis reside in the US, which makes it a priority for Islamabad to foster close ties with this vibrant community.
“Trade is the new diplomacy. Even during active conflicts, like the recent border tensions between China and India in Ladakh, countries continue to maintain trade relations,” he noted.
