Islamabad (TDI): As Pakistan and the United States continue to strengthen ties, this week saw Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif join global leaders at the inaugural Board of Peace in Washington, while major initiatives advanced US–Pakistan collaboration in education, technology, and youth development.

From the launch of the Sindh School Meals Program supporting over 200,000 students, to tech partnerships and EducationUSA college outreach, these efforts reflect a shared commitment to peace, progress, and opportunity, just as communities around the world observe the holy month of Ramzan.

The US Department of Agriculture launched the Sindh School Meals Program, worth 22.4 billion rupees to help more than 200,000 young Pakistanis at 1,300 schools learn and grow with nutritious school meals, clean water, and sanitation facilities.

Under the Trump administration’s “America First” foreign assistance policy, these programs aim to promote self-sufficiency while offering resources to empower local communities.
