Beijing (TDI): Pakistan’s Ambassador to China, Khalil Hashmi, on Tuesday extended warm Spring Festival greetings to the Chinese people, reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to deepening its long-standing partnership with Beijing.

In his message, Ambassador Hashmi highlighted the significance of this year as Pakistan and China celebrate the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic relations, describing the milestone as a testament to the enduring nature of the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership. He noted that the celebrations began in early January and reflect a relationship built on mutual trust, shared aspirations, and unwavering friendship.

Over the past seven and a half decades, he said, Pakistan-China ties have served as a model of stability in an evolving and often turbulent international landscape. Cooperation has deepened across diplomacy, development, connectivity, and people-to-people exchanges, guided by a shared vision of peace, security, and sustainable development.
