Pakistan Strongly Condemns Israeli Aggression Against Iran

Islamabad (TDI): The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Pakistan has strongly condemned the “unjustified and illegitimate military aggression” by Israel against Iran.

These strikes are a flagrant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and represent a grave breach of the United Nations Charter and the fundamental principles of international law, as per MoFA’s Press Release issued this morning.

The press statement said that the Israeli attacks not only disregard established norms of interstate conduct but also pose a serious threat to peace and security in an already volatile region. Pakistan firmly asserts that the Islamic Republic of Iran, like any sovereign state, possesses the inherent right to self-defense as enshrined in Article 51 of the UN Charter.

“The use of force by Israel without any legal or moral justification constitutes a blatant provocation and escalation, undermining regional stability and threatening wider international peace,” it also read.

MoFA reaffirmed that Pakistan stands in resolute solidarity with the people and government of Iran at this time: “We extend our full support to Iran’s right to safeguard its territorial integrity and defend its people against acts of aggression.”

It also noted that the latest developments are not isolated; they reflect a pattern of unlawful actions that have the potential to ignite broader conflict, risking further loss of innocent lives and endangering the security architecture of the Middle East and beyond.

“Islamabad urges the international community, particularly the United Nations and key stakeholders, to fulfill their responsibility in upholding the global order,” the Foreign Office added.

“Immediate action is required to halt the continuing aggression, prevent further escalation, and hold the aggressor accountable. The failure to respond effectively would not only erode the credibility of the international legal framework but also encourage further unilateralism and impunity in global affairs”, the FO said.

The statement stressed that preservation of international peace and security hinges on adherence to international law and the responsible conduct of states.

In a separate statement issued today, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar said that we (Pakistan) strongly condemn the unjustified Israeli attack on Iran.

Strongly condemning these unjustified Israeli attacks, Dar further noted that the aggression represents a brazen violation of Iran’s sovereignty: “This abhorrent action undermines the foundations of international law, shocks the conscience of humanity, and severely threatens regional stability and international security.”

In the early morning hours today, Israel launched massive military strikes targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities, missile production centers, senior military officials, and nuclear scientists.

The Israeli government described this act as the first step towards its broader effort to neutralize what it sees as a growing existential threat from Tehran.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned Israel that it “must expect severe punishment” following the “crime” of attacking Iran and killing several commanders and scientists.

As an act of retaliation, Iran launched 100 drones on Israel, according to the spokesperson of Iranian military, Brigadier General Effie Defrin.
