Islamabad, 2 September 2024 (TDI): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stressed Monday that Pakistan-China friendship was vital for both countries as well as for regional peace and stability.
He made these remarks during a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong in Islamabad.
“Pakistan-China ties are inevitable not only for both the countries but also for the region and global peace and development,” the premier said.

The premier said China has always extended unconditional support to Pakistan in every difficult period.
He hailed the Chinese leadership’s vision for upgrading the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and continuously improving strategic relations between the two countries.
PM Shehbaz expressed Pakistan’s desire to enhance collaboration with China in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence, modern agriculture, and other sectors.
