Aghdam (TDI): Pakistan and Azerbaijan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to work together on youth development initiatives, on Tuesday.
The MoU signing took place in the Aghdam town of Azerbaijan, where Pakistan was represented by the Member National Assembly and Focal Person for Prime Minister’s Youth Program (PMYP), Syed Amnah Batool.
She signed the document on behalf of Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, alongside counterparts from Azerbaijan. This agreement opens a window of opportunity where both countries can share their respective youth-focused initiatives and can also collaborate on joint youth development projects.
Youth exchange also remains a key feature of this MoU. An official statement from Pakistan said, “This partnership is rooted in shared goals, mutual understanding, and a commitment to fostering stronger ties through youth-centered initiatives, intercultural exchange, and regional collaboration.”
Pakistan and Azerbaijan already cooperate in diverse sectors including trade, tourism, and energy. Pakistan counts its friendship with Azerbaijan among the ever-green bilateral partnerships.
