Pak Army Denounces Baseless Indian Allegations

ISLAMABAD (TDI): The Pakistan Army has strongly condemned recent remarks by the Indian Army Chief, rejecting his claim that Pakistan is the “epicenter of terrorism.”

In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) described the assertion as factually baseless and a futile repetition of India’s habitual rhetoric—blaming Pakistan for indigenous resistance to state-sponsored violence.

“This is a prime example of the Indian Army’s blatant duplicity,” the ISPR remarked.

The ISPR emphasized that the Indian Army Chief’s comments were an attempt to divert international attention from India’s own actions, including widespread human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), systemic oppression of minorities within India, and transnational repression.

The statement further highlighted that the General, during his previous tenure in IIOJK, was directly involved in overseeing severe crackdowns on Kashmiris. It criticized such politically charged and misleading remarks as indicative of the Indian Army’s increasing politicization.

The ISPR pointed out that the global community is aware of India’s so-called “hate speech conclaves,” which incite violence against Muslims, as well as its pattern of transnational assassinations and the use of excessive force by Indian security forces against unarmed civilians in IIOJK.

These actions, it noted, have only strengthened the determination of Kashmiris to pursue their right to self-determination, as guaranteed by United Nations Security Council resolutions.

The ISPR urged India to confront the reality of its own actions rather than fabricating claims of a “terror infrastructure” in Pakistan.

It also reminded that a senior Indian military officer is currently in Pakistan’s custody, having been apprehended while orchestrating acts of terrorism targeting innocent civilians.

Expressing solidarity with the victims of Indian military aggression, the statement called on the Indian Army leadership to adopt civility, professionalism, and respect for international norms in its conduct, rather than succumbing to political agendas.
