YINCHUAN, (TDI): Over 300 representatives from China and abroad participated in the 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, held in Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in northwest China.
Shen Yueyue, vice chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote address.
In her speech, Shen, who also chairs the Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation Commission of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, highlighted the new cooperative framework established by the heads of state of China and the five Central Asian countries during the China-Central Asia Summit.

Shen emphasized China’s commitment to fostering comprehensive, mutually beneficial cooperation with all Central Asian nations to enhance the well-being of the people across the six countries.
The forum, themed “Promoting Green Development and Building a Common Home,” also saw the release of the Yinchuan Initiative.

The China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum serves as a national-level platform for institutional exchanges between China and Central Asian countries. Established in 2012, it has successfully hosted 10 sessions as one of China’s key multilateral cooperation initiatives.
The 11th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum aims to implement the outcomes from the first China-Central Asia Summit and the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus” meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan.
It focuses on fostering high-quality collaboration within the Belt and Road Initiative framework and aims to build a China-Central Asia community with a shared future.
The forum will further strengthen friendly ties and pragmatic cooperation across various fields, including economics, trade, agriculture, science and technology, education, and cultural tourism.
