Omani Foreign Minister meets with GCC Heads

Muscat, 9 November 2021 (TDI): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, met the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf, Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Abdul Rahman Ahmed Al-Harbi, and the General Coordinator of Negotiations and Head of the GCC Negotiating Team.

The meeting covered the issues of the ties between Oman and Gulf states, especially GCC members. The heads highlighted several aspects and various ways to improve the cooperation, partnership, and develop friendly relations with the countries, union, international, regional organizations in the economic and cooperative fields. Another concern was the issue of making an active role of the Arab states and the international community regarding areas such as education, political and economic life.

The Ambassador of Head of the Department of the Minister’s Office, Khalid bin Hashel bin Muhammad Al-Maslihi, the Ambassador of Head of the Department of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Saud bin Ahmed bin Khalid Al-Barwani were also present in the meeting.
