6th August, 2024 (TDI): The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is set to hold meeting of its executive committee at the foreign ministers’ level at Jeddah on Wednesday (tomorrow) to discuss the ongoing crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people.
In a post on X, the OIC has said that it will hold an open-ended extraordinary meeting regarding the Israeli crimes, including the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and violation of Iran’s sovereignty.
The meeting that will be held at the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah has been convened in response to the atrocities being committed by the Israeli forces against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
It may here be noted that to date Israeli has killed nearly 40,000 individuals, mostly women and children, and injured over 91,000 Palestinians.

Further, civilian properties, including 430,000 homes, have been destroyed along with infrastructure, hospitals, schools, mosques and historical sites. Two million Palestinians have been displaced due to the attacks.
