Khartoum, 20 September 2021 (TDI): Therese Løken Gheziel, the Ambassador of Norway for Sudan, met with her counterpart from Saudi Arabia, Ali Hassan Jaafar, to discuss the ongoing situation of East Sudan and the support for the civilian-led transition in Sudan.
The meeting mainly focused on supporting the Civilian Led Transition in Sudan that is fetching peace and development in Sudan after an era of autocratic rule. Both of the ambassadors agreed to resolve the ongoing issues in the Eastern part of Sudan and work for the peace and development of the Republic of Sudan.
The meeting was termed cordial and fruitful by the Norwegian Ambassador to Sudan, where both ambassadors discussed and assured efforts for resolving Sudan’s issues for the country’s peaceful and democratic future.
