Islamabad (TDI): The embassies of Norway and Poland in Pakistan have issued guidelines for their citizens visiting or residing in Pakistan amid Indian attacks and violations of Pakistan’s airspace.
On Thursday, the Embassy of Norway in Pakistan issued guidelines for its citizens currently residing in Pakistan.
While referring to the reports of Pakistani media regarding Indian drones hovering over several Pakistani cities and towns, including Lahore and Rawalpindi, the Embassy urged its citizens to stay updated on the developing situation through the media and listen to advice of the local authorities.
Polish Embassy also issued guidelines for the Polish citizens and advised them to not travel to locations that are under the threat of India’s air strikes, issuing a list of areas that must be avoided.
The Embassy further advised its citizens against traveling within a radius of 20 km from the Pakistani border with India and within a radius of 20 km from the Pakistani border with Afghanistan.
Indian Attacks on Pakistan
On the night of Wednesday, the Indian army conducted missile strikes in five locations in Pakistan, not only violating the Line of Control but also the internationally recognized border between the two countries.
The attacks, according to the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), were conducted from inside the Indian territory into Pakistan, leading to the martyrdom of at least 31 civilians including women and children, and injuring 57 people.

Since then, India has repeatedly violated Pakistan’s sovereignty and has conducted several drone attacks in Pakistan, 25 of which were intercepted by Pakistan Airforce and Pakistan Army immediately on Thursday. However, at least one drone crashed in Lahore, injuring four soldiers of the Pakistan army.
Pakistan’s armed forces, police, and administrative officers have been taking necessary measures, but the missile attacks and the drone strikes conducted by India have led to increasing fear and panic not only among the citizens of Pakistan but also the foreign nationals residing in Pakistan.
