Islamabad, 3 September 2021 (TDI): The Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong met Professor Dr. Ataullah Shah, Vice-Chancellor of Karakoram International University (KIU), today. The Ambassador tweeted that he is pleased to meet the Chancellor.
Moreover, Nong said he was impressed by Dr. Ataullah Shah’s vision, and praised his efforts in invigorating the KIU’s ties with the Chinese universities. Besides this, KIU is promoting research on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the Chinese Ambassador was intrigued by this. Both sides expect more cooperation in different fields and solidification of bilateral ties.
In the same vein, China and Pakistan have conducted many cultural exchange programs, and they provide scholarships to the students of each other. Both countries are all-weather friends and are always looking forward to opening more avenues for collaboration.
