Islamabad:4, July 2021-(TDI): Muhammadu Buhari President of Nigeria has appreciated and expressed gratitude towards Pakistan and its Armed Forces for their coherent support to Nigeria in its war against terrorism. According to the resources of ISPR, The President of Nigeria expressed these views during a meeting with General Nadim Raza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff who visited him today. The President of Nigeria expressed deep respect for the Pakistani army.JCSC chairman also had separate meetings with Retired Major General Bashir Salihi Magashi Defence Minister, Chiefs of the Tri-Services and Chief of Defence Staff General Leo Irabor. During the meetings, they discussed the matters of mutual interest, bilateral cooperation including counter-terrorism and regional security. Chairman JCSC was presented Guard of Honour by the Nigerian Armed Forces upon arrival at Nigerian Defence Headquarters. The satisfactory performance and unique capabilities of JF-17 aircraft were also praised by the Nigerian military.
