New Zealand’s Prime Minister attends the East Asia Summit

Wellington, 29 October 2021 (TDI): New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern attended a virtual East Asia Summit on Thursday.

The summit was hosted and presided by Brunei under the theme, “We Care, We Prepare, We Prosper”.

New Zealand cemented its strong commitment to promoting ASEAN centrality in the Indo-Pacific region.

A tweet shared by Newzealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade told the Summit held world countries to discuss COVID-19.

The world leaders also stressed the situation of human rights and climate change across the world.
