Tashkent (TDI): A momentous event was organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the presentation of the book “History of Diplomacy of Uzbekistan” (From Ancient Times to the Present Day) in Tashkent.
The publication is a fundamental study revealing the key stages of the formation of Uzbek diplomacy, its historical traditions and modern trends.
The event was attended by representatives of the Presidential Administration, Parliament, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomatic missions, international organizations, scholars, teachers and students.
Rector of UWED, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of Oliy Majlis Sodik Safoyev noted that the book was prepared on the initiative of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and is an important contribution to the study of national diplomacy.

Special Representative of the President Abdulaziz Kamilov emphasized its significance for the analysis of international relations and regional cooperation.
In his remarks, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Beibut Atamkulov recalled the centuries-old historical ties between our peoples, which continue to develop today.

The book is based on rare archival materials and studies by leading specialists.
It not only systematizes historical experience, but also reflects the dynamics of modern diplomacy.
The participants of the presentation noted the importance of further research and the prospect of new, supplemented editions.
