Islamabad: June 19, 2021-(TDI) Ambassador of Netherlands to Pakistan Wouter Plomp is currently on his visit to Sialkot. He earlier had meetings with executives of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry and acknowledged Sialkot’s businessmen and women contribution. During his meeting, Ambassador Wouter Plomp also appreciated women workers in the Sialkot sports industry. Later, he also visited the Poet of the East birthplace. He said his visit to Sialkot gave him the chance to explore Dr. Allama Iqbal’s place. A man who inspires the whole nation.
Today Ambassador Wouter Plomp met DCO Sialkot Tahir Farooq. In the meeting, DCO Sialkot told the Netherlands Ambassador about the challenges and opportunities the local government of Punjab is facing. Ambassador was also mesmerized by the beautiful landscape of Pakistan. These remind him of his homeland. He also shared beautiful pictures of the Chenab River. Head Marala on River Chenab is the home of the beautiful bird Jacana.
