Netflix Ends iOS 16 Support

-

California (TDI): Older iPhones and iPads running iOS 16 will no longer be supported by Netflix.

Netflix is notifying users on iOS 16 devices that “We’ve updated the Netflix app!” according to a 9to5Mac report. Install iOS 17 or later in order to utilize the most recent version.

The third-generation Apple TV app was discontinued by Netflix earlier in July, and members were notified via email when service will be discontinued.

With this modification, Netflix hopes to “ensure you maintain the best possible Netflix viewing experience,” according to the email.

Furthermore, the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, first-generation iPad Pro, and iPad 5 are among the devices that the Netflix app will no longer support if they are unable to update to iOS 17.
