ISLAMABAD, (TDI): The outgoing Ambassador of Nepal to Pakistan, Tapas Adhikari, paid a farewell visit to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House on Thursday.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to its friendly relations with Nepal.
He fondly recalled his recent interaction with Nepalese Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli at the UN General Assembly in New York in September, emphasizing the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade and investment.

The Prime Minister also commended Ambassador Adhikari for his significant contributions to strengthening the ties between the two nations, highlighting his efforts to foster people-to-people exchanges and cultural diplomacy.
In return, Ambassador Adhikari expressed his appreciation for Pakistan’s progress under Prime Minister Sharif’s leadership and thanked the government for its support during his tenure.
