Nepal and Sierra Leone establish Diplomatic Relations

Kathmandu: July 1, 2021 – (TDI): Nepal and Sierra Leone established diplomatic relations on Tuesday.

Their Heads of Missions to the United Nations, Amrit Kumar Raj and Ali Kaba signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New York formalizing the relations between the two states.

Resultantly, the number of countries with which Nepal shares diplomatic relations has now amounted to 171 with the United Kingdom being the first state with which Nepal established relations in 1816.
