Prime Minister of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă stated that Romania will provide support in the most direct and timely manner. It targets rescuers of all categories who must intervene both at a distance, behind the front, in the regions hit from a distance by Russian airstrikes, and on the front line.
The rescuers face a range of injuries and suffering specific to wartime and direct encounters with conventional infantry and artillery weapons.
Once more, Romania respects its commitments also within the Alliance. NATO’s trust fund is providing immediate humanitarian support to Ukraine.
It includes the delivery of medical equipment, supplies, and educational support in areas like paramedic training. All of this helps to improve the preparedness and resilience of Ukraine’s national healthcare system.
