Islamabad (TDI): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday reiterated the nation’s resolute support for the Armed Forces, lauding their professionalism and commitment to safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty.
Accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif and the Services Chiefs, the premier visited the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Headquarters, where he received a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security environment and emerging regional threats, particularly in the context of India’s growing belligerence along the eastern border.
The leadership was briefed on regional security dynamics and the evolving threat landscape, encompassing conventional military scenarios, hybrid warfare strategies, and terrorist proxies.
“The entire nation is behind our brave Armed Forces. Pakistan Army is one of the most professional and disciplined force in the world,” the Prime Minister said.
He highlighted the imperative of enhanced national vigilance, smooth inter-agency coordination, and reinforced operational preparedness to deter and decisively respond to any violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan.

Lauding ISI’s professionalism and strategic capabilities, the Prime Minister appreciated its vital role in protecting national interests and enabling informed and well-calculated national security decision-making under complex and dynamic conditions.

The leadership reaffirmed Pakistan’s unambiguous resolve to defend the homeland against all threats—conventional or otherwise and reiterated that with the full support of the nation, the Armed Forces, all other elements of national power and state institutions, remain fully prepared to uphold Pakistan’s security, prestige and honor under all circumstances.
