Islamabad, (TDI): Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday reviewed security arrangements for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.
In a meeting, he approved a comprehensive security plan, underscoring the significance of hosting the SCO Summit in Pakistan.
Several heads of state are expected to participate in the summit, he said.

Naqvi described this as an honor for the nation. The minister stressed the importance of beautification and cleanliness efforts in Islamabad for the occasion.
The interior minister said that additional personnel from the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Corps, and Punjab Police will be deployed to ensure strict security on the occasion.
He called on all relevant departments to cooperate closely, emphasizing that a peaceful and successful summit depends on their collective efforts.

Federal Secretary Interior, Additional Secretaries, Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, IG Police Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Deputy Commandant FC, Sector Commander Pakistan Rangers, and representatives from various security agencies attended the meeting.
