Islamabad, (TDI): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Saudi Embassy in the diplomatic enclave on Monday to mark the National Day of Saudi Arabia.
Upon arrival, Naqvi was warmly received by Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Ahmed Al-Maliki.
During the meeting, the Interior Minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to Ambassador Al-Maliki, conveying best wishes to the Saudi Royal Family and the people of Saudi Arabia.
Naqvi expressed gratitude for the continued support from the Saudi government, particularly during times of crisis such as floods, earthquakes, and economic challenges.

“Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan, and their support has been unparalleled,” Naqvi said, adding that the deep-rooted friendship between the two nations is a source of pride for every Pakistani.
Ambassador Al-Maliki reiterated the strong brotherly bond between the two countries, emphasizing that Saudi Arabia highly values its relationship with Pakistan.
Strong Diplomatic Ties
The visit was a reflection of the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations, with both countries reiterating their commitment to further deepening their cooperation across various sectors, including trade, security, and religious diplomacy.
The National Day of Saudi Arabia, celebrated on September 23 each year, marks the founding of the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932.
