Islamabad (TDI): In a meeting between Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jian Zedong, both sides discussed deepening bilateral relations, particularly in the areas of counter-terrorism and security cooperation.

The meeting also covered a range of mutual interests aimed at enhancing the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and China.

Ambassador Jian Zedong expressed his strong condemnation of the recent suicide attack near the Islamabad District Courts, offering heartfelt condolences over the tragic loss of life.

He reiterated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China had also denounced the attack, highlighting China’s commitment to supporting Pakistan in combating terrorism.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi emphasized that Pakistan-China relations are built on a foundation of mutual trust and respect.

Ambassador Jian Zedong reaffirmed China’s commitment to continuing full cooperation with Pakistan, especially in the realm of counter-terrorism and security efforts.
