New York, 22 September 2021 (TDI): The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, Grace Naledi Pandor met with the Foreign Ministers of Palestine and Cuba in New York.
She met with the Foreign Minister of Palestine Dr. Riad Malki and the Foreign Minister of Cuba Mr. Bruno Rodriguez Parilla, who is also a diplomat in Cuba. Not only this she also met with the Prime Minister of Libya Mr. Abdul Hamid, and the Foreign Minister of Maldives Mr. Abdulla Shahid.
The aim was to meet the Foreign Minister of these countries and discuss the bilateral relations between South Africa and countries like Palestine, Cuba, Libya, and the Maldives. The purpose was to create peace and cooperation between the countries. This meeting was held to have good economic relations with each other. For this matter, discussion and communication are important so that the countries stay connected with each other and apart from their national interest can work for each other as well.
This is a positive step towards the initiation of good relations between the countries. South Africa and Palestine are already dealing with a crisis of their own however cooperation between the countries can lead to a fruitful outcome.
