Islamabad (TDI): The Chairperson of the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on the National Heritage and Culture Division, Syeda Noreen Iftikhar, visited the Sadequain Art Gallery at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on Friday.
She was accompanied by the division’s Secretary, Asad Gillani, and PNCA Director General Ayub Jamali. During the visit, the committee members praised the extraordinary work of Syed Sadequain Ahmed Naqvi, whose artistic contributions are regarded as a cornerstone of Pakistan’s cultural identity.
They underscored the need for preserving his legacy and ensuring that future generations remain connected to his art.
The visit also shed light on ongoing efforts within the Heritage and Culture Division to strengthen cultural institutions and expand national support for the arts.
