Edinburgh, 15 August 2024 (TDI): The Scotland Cricket Board has appointed Mulan’s Ali Zeeshan Khan as the captain of U-16 Scotland’s cricket team.
Ali Zeeshan achieved this position after performing consistently well in the domestic season just ended.
This left-hand batsman scored 812 runs with one hundred and eight fifties at both junior levels and senior cricket.

He also got 227 for the Under-15s of Scotland scoring a total of 580 in the club campaign of 2023. He was similarly impressive a year earlier during which he scored 1495 runs from 54 games with the highest score of 108 inclusive of century and nine fifties.
Similarly, Zeeshan scored 598 runs in U-14 cricket without getting out in any match.
Ali Zeeshan’s father, Zeeshan Khan, had captained both Multan District and Multan Regional teams as well as playing first-class cricket in Pakistan and league cricket in England making him an accomplished cricketer.
Another uncle Khurram Khan led UAE’s national side while Atiq Khan Guddu played first-class cricket adding to this already rich heritage.
