Kabul, 6 September 2021 (TDI): Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Amir and Head of Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan along with his delegation held a meeting with Martin Griffiths, the United Kingdom Under General Secretary for Humanitarian Affairs in Kabul.
Both sides deeply discussed Afghanistan’s current situation. Moreover, the UK delegation promised to continue humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan. Afghan delegation requested the UK to support Afghan people and help with the assistance of other international donors.
The parties also discussed the Afghan-Taliban government in making and the issue of International recognition.
