Rabat, 16 September 2021(TDI): Morocco and Spain have started flourishing in their economic relations. Both countries have extended their trading relations through the export of Moroccan fruits and vegetables to Spain. The trading graph between Morocco and Spain has increased during the first half of this year, compared to the last trading graph. During the first half of the year, Morocco’s exporting products to Spain has increased by almost 2% of the worth €562 million. In comparison, this export was only €542 million in 2020 only, mentioned by the Spanish Federation of Associations of producers and exporters.
However, Morocco has expanded its fruits and vegetable exports to the European countries, continuously exceeding expectations in trading policies. According to the Moroccan Ministry of agriculture, fisheries, and rural development, this export was increased due to the heavy rainfall.
While on the other hand, Europe has been facing difficulties during agricultural harvesting due to the harsh winter season. Therefore, European lower agricultural harvesting patterns have allowed Morocco to export its products outside the region.
